The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission hosted a training event for pipeline operators from North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. Presenters included pipeline safety experts from the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and pipeline safety oversight experts from the three states. Presentations covered a wide variety of topics including new federal regulations, plastic pipe issues, operator qualifications and many more.
