Aug. 29, 2008 - Huron, AARP Financial Management Seminar, Crossroads, 1-8 p.m. (CDT). AARP members can stop by the PUC booth to visit with agency representatives and pick up helpful information.

September 24-26, 2008 - Sioux Falls, plain green '08, Washington Pavilion.
Commissioner Gary Hanson is scheduled to speak at a session Sept. 25 about the importance and opportunities for local and national efforts to engage immediate activities to reduce fossil fuel usage. The event is a collaboration between Koch Hazard Architects and South Dakota State University.
