Filing Complaints
Before you decide to file a complaint, please read about the complaint process. In many cases, the PUC can help resolve your complaint without having to go through the lengthy formal complaint process.

Do Not Call Registry
South Dakotans who wish to eliminate many unwanted telemarketing phone calls may place their telephone numbers on a statewide "Do Not Call" Registry.

South Dakota One Call
South Dakotans are required to call South Dakota One Call for location of utility service two working days prior to digging. If you are planning a construction or remodeling project, call 811 or 1-800-781-7474. Locate requests are accepted 24 hours a day.
