ELECTRIC
Pursuant to Commission Order in Docket EL06-018, Otter Tail Corporation d/b/a Otter Tail Power Company filed its interconnection procedures for distribution generation facilities for Commission approval. The proposed tariff pages include an application for interconnection, procedures for interconnection, and an interconnection agreement.

NATURAL GAS
On October 5, 2007, Staff filed a Motion for Order to Show Cause against MidAmerican Energy based on a consumer's disconnection and MidAmerican's refusal to provide natural gas services. Staff alleges neither the disconnection nor the failure to provide service were in compliance with the company's tariff and Commission rules and statutes.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS
On October 5, 2007, Staff filed a Motion for Order to Show Cause against Reduced Rates Long Distance based on twenty-three consumer complaints of cramming and slamming activity by Reduced Rates. Staff alleges Reduced Rates Long Distance changed consumer long distance providers and/or added fees to consumer bills through deceptive practices and without proper authorization.
