MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING

         Commissioner Chris Nelson called the meeting to order. Joining the meeting by telephone were Commissioners: Chris Nelson, Kristie Fiegen and Gary Hanson; Commission Advisor: Greg Rislov; Commission Attorney: Karen Cremer; Grain Warehouse Inspector: Justin Blais; and Kevin Tjeerdsma, Farmers Cooperative Elevator.

         Present were Commission Attorney: Adam de Hueck; Staff Attorneys: Kristen Edwards and Amanda Reiss; Grain Warehouse Program Manager: Cody Chambliss; Grain Warehouse Inspector: Paul Kenefick-Aschoff; and Staff: Leah Mohr and Brittany Olson.

Grain Warehouse

1.      GW21-002      In the Matter of Farmers Cooperative Elevator, Avon, South Dakota (Grain Warehouse Program Manager: Cody Chambliss; Staff Attorneys: Kristen Edwards, Amanda Reiss)

         Commissioner Fiegen moved to grant staff’s Petition, instructing Grain Program staff to immediately apply to Circuit Court to take receivership of Farmers Cooperative Elevator and to open a docket for bond proceedings. Motion carried 3-0.

         There being no further business, at the hour of 9:14 a.m. the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission meeting adjourned.
