MINUTES OF THE AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING

Commissioner Chris Nelson called the meeting to order. Present were: Commission Attorney: Karen Cremer; Commission Advisor: Greg Rislov; Staff Attorney: Kristen Edwards; Staff: Kaitlyn Baucom; and Steven Kolbeck, Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy.
Joining the meeting by telephone were:  Commissioners: Gary Hanson and Kristie Fiegen; Staff Analysts: Jon Thurber and Darren Kearney; Staff Attorney: Amanda Reiss; Mathew Harris and Pete Gitzen, Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy; and Eric Munz, self.

Electric

1.      EL18-003        In the Matter of the Application by Dakota Range I, LLC and Dakota Range II, LLC for a Permit of a Wind Energy Facility in Grant County and Codington County, South Dakota, for the Dakota Range Wind Project (Staff Analysts: Darren Kearney, Jon Thurber; Staff Attorneys: Kristen Edwards, Amanda Reiss)

         Mr. Steve Kolbeck, Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy, asked that the Commission approve Eric Munz as public liaison officer for the Dakota Range Wind Project.  Ms. Kristen Edwards, staff attorney, recommended the Commission approve the request. 

         Commissioner Hanson moved to approve Eric Munz as the public liaison officer. Motion carried 3-0.

There being no further business, at the hour of 1:07 p.m., the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission meeting adjourned.
