MINUTES OF THE AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING

Commissioner Chris Nelson called the meeting to order. Commission Attorney: Adam de Hueck; Commission Advisor: Greg Rislov; Staff Attorney: Kristen Edwards; Finance Manager: Cindy Kemnitz; and Staff: Kaitlyn Baucom.

Joining the meeting by telephone were:
Commissioner: Kristie Fiegen.

Administration

1.     AA19-002     Establishment of the Gross Receipts Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2020 (Finance Manager: Cindy Kemnitz)

&Ms. Cindy Kemnitz, Finance Manager, requested that the Commission establish the rate of .0015 or $250, whichever is greater, and assess the gross receipts tax as authorized in SDCL 49-1A-3.

     Commissioner Fiegen moved to establish the Gross Receipts Tax rate for fiscal year 2020 at .0015 or $250, whichever is greater, as authorized in SDCL49-1A-3, per staffs’ recommendation. Motion carried 2-0.

     There being no further business, at the hour of 11:08 a.m., the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission meeting adjourned.
