MINUTES OF THE AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING

Commissioner Chris Nelson called the meeting to Order. Present were Commission Counsel: Rolayne Wiest; Commission Advisor: Greg Rislov; Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer; Staff Analyst: David Henry, Robin Meyerink, and Patrick Steffensen; and Staff: Tina Douglas

Joining the meeting by telephone were:
Commissioners: Gary Hanson and Kristie Fiegen; Phil Schenkenberg, Briggs and Morgan, P.A., representing Sprint Communications Company, LP; Meredith Moore, Cutler & Donahoe LLP, representing Midstate Communications, Inc.; Scott Swier, Swier Law Firm, Prof. LLC, representing Native American Telecom, LLC and Tom Welk, Boyce, Greenfield, Pashby, & Welk LLP, representing Qwest dba CenturyLink

Telecommunications

1.     TC11-087     In the Matter of the Application of Native American Telecom, LLC for a Certificate of Authority to Provide Interexchange Telecommunications Services and Local Exchange Services in South Dakota (Staff Analyst: Patrick Steffensen; Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

     Commissioner Fiegen moved to grant NAT's Motion for Continuance. Motion carried 2-1. Commissioner Nelson dissented.

There being no further business, at the hour of 4:19 p.m. the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission meeting adjourned.
