South Dakota Public Utilities Commission Meeting

MINUTES OF THE AD HOC MEETING
Chairman Jim Burg called the meeting to order. Present were Commission Advisor Greg Rislov; Commission Counsel Rolayne Wiest; Staff Attorney Kelly Frazier; Transportation/Warehouse Director Bob Knadle; Utility Analysts Keith Senger, Martin Bettmann and Michele Farris; and Administrative Secretary Mary Giddings.
Joining the meeting by telephone were Commissioner Pam Nelson; Alvin Scott and Tom Jass, McCook Feed and Fertilizer customers; and Debra Sittig, attorney representing Home Federal Savings Bank.
Chairman Burg explained he was moving to deny FreMar Farmers Cooperative's (FreMar) request to adjust the amount FreMar owes for the soybean inventory. Ms. Wiest noted that the affidavit from Home Federal Savings Bank had been received and inquired if there were any objections to accepting it. Mr. Frazier stated that there were no objections. Ms. Wiest inquired if there were any objections to accepting the affidavits filed by Staff. Ms. Sittig, representing Home Federal Savings Bank, stated that there were no objections.
Chairman Burg moved to deny FreMar's request that a buy back amount of $1500 be deducted from the amount FreMar owes for the 15,811 bushels of soybeans. Commissioner Nelson seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Chairman Burg moved to grant the motions to reopen for further evidence and to accept the affidavits filed by Staff and Home Federal Savings Bank. Commissioner Nelson seconded.
Motion passed 2-0
