MINUTES OF THE AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING
Chairman Burg called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. Present were Commissioner Pam Nelson, Commissioner Laska Schoenfelder, Executive Director Bill Bullard, General Counsel Rolayne Ailts Wiest, Staff Attorneys Karen Cremer and Camron Hoseck, Utility Analysts Bob Knadle, Dave Jacobson and Tammi Stangohr, Legal Intern Tricia Zimmer and Administrative Secretary Shirleen Fugitt.
Also present were John Lovald, AT&T; Bob Sahr, MCI; and Rich Coit, SDITC.
Joining the meeting by phone were Jon Lehner and Colleen Sevold, U S WEST.
Telecommunications
Ms. Wiest recommended granting intervention to AT&T and SDITC and late-filed intervention to MCI, U S WEST, and DCT.
Commissioner Schoenfelder moved to grant intervention to AT&T and SDITC and late-filed intervention to MCI, U S WEST and DCT. Commissioner Nelson seconded and Chairman Burg concurred. Motion passed 3-0.
Speaking in support of Staff's proposed discounts for schools and libraries were John Lovald, AT&T; Rich Coit, SDITC; Bob Sahr, MCI; and Jon Lehner, U S WEST.
Commissioner Schoenfelder moved to adopt Staff's proposed discounts for schools and libraries. Commissioner Nelson seconded and Chairman Burg concurred. Motion passed 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned.
