NOTE:  Docket participants who wish to join this meeting by conference call should contact the Commission at 605-773-3201 by 10:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, to reserve a phone line. Lines are limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis, subject to possible reassignment to accommodate persons who must appear in a proceeding. Ultimately, if you wish to participate and a line is not available, you may have to appear in person.

NOTICE OF RULES HEARING

         RM23-001 - In the Matter of the Adoption of Administrative Rules

         On December 7, 2023, the Commission opened a rulemaking docket to address the following administrative rules: 20:10:01:12, 20:10:01:17.02, 20:10:12:15, 20:10:26:04, 20:10:26:06, 20:10:32:52, 20:10:37:10, 20:10:37:17, 20:10:37:18, and 20:10:37:19. Notice of the rulemaking docket was published in the Capital Journal, Rapid City Journal, and Argus Leader. A complete copy of the proposed changes can be viewed at https://puc.sd.gov/commission/dockets/rulemaking/2023/RM23-001/ProposedRules.pdf. Pursuant to SDCL 1-26-4, written comments will be accepted for a period of ten days following the public hearing.  The deadline to file comments is February 22, 2024. The Commission will vote on the proposed rules at a Commission meeting following the deadline for written comments. Rules adopted in this docket will be submitted to the Interim Rules Review Committee. At this hearing, the Commission will take comments on the proposed rules.
