1.      EL09-016      In the Matter of the Filing by Otter Tail Power Company for Approval to Levelize the Fuel Adjustment Clause Rider Rate for September 2009 through December 2009 (Staff Analyst: Bob Knadle, Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

On August 27, 2009, Otter Tail Power Company (Otter Tail) filed with the Public Utilities Commission a request for approval on less than 30 days notice to vary from its Fuel Adjustment Clause Rider tariff, Section 13.01, Sheet Nos. 1-3.  Otter Tail requests the ability to use a fixed fuel adjustment clause rate of $0.001 for the months of September and October and a fixed fuel adjustment clause rate of $0.002 for the months of November and December in lieu of the calculated rates to minimize the swing in costs charged to customers through the fuel adjustment clause.

TODAY, shall the Commission Allow Otter Tail Power Company to Deviate from their Established Fuel Adjustment Clause Calculation with Less than 30 Days Notice?
