AGENDA OF THE AD HOC HEARING
Grain Elevator
1. IN THE MATTER OF DAMAR FARMERS ELEVATOR. (Division Director: Bob Knadle; Staff Attorney: Kelly Frazier)
On August 28, 2002, staff sent a letter to DaMar Farmers Elevator requesting that they submit a plan to staff detailing how the elevator planned to maintain its operations in such a manner as to avoid the staff moving the Commission to file for a receivership. The deadline given by staff was Thursday, September 5, 2002, for the elevator to submit a working plan. On Friday staff intends to present any plan submitted by the elevator to the Commission and to address any issues deemed relevant by the Commission.
Today: Has the elevator submitted a final working agreement regarding the continued operation of the elevator to staff and if so, is the Commission satisfied that this agreement is sufficient to prevent the need for the Commission to file for receivership? How shall the Commission proceed?
