ADDENDUM TO THE AGENDA

Telecommunications

1. TC98-206 IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF NEW MILLENNIUM CONQUEST SERVICE CORPORATION FOR A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES IN SOUTH DAKOTA. (Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer. Staff Analyst: Keith Senger.)

On November 30, 1998, the Commission received an application by New Millennium ConQuest Service Corporation for a Certificate of Authority to provide resold intrastate telecommunications services in the state of South Dakota. Proposed services include direct dial outbound service and operator assisted services. On May 6, 1999, the company sent a letter asking to withdraw its application.

TODAY, shall the Commission grant the withdrawal and close the docket?

2. TC99-032 IN THE MATTER OF THE FILING FOR APPROVAL OF AN INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF HAWARDEN AND HEARTLAND TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY OF IOWA. (Staff Attorney: Camron Hoseck.)

On April 1, 1999, the Commission received an interconnection agreement between the City of Hawarden and Heartland Telecommunications Company of Iowa. Any party wishing to comment on the agreement had until April 28, 1999, to file written comments with the Commission.

TODAY, shall the Commission approve the Interconnection Agreement?

3. TC99-036 IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF SOUTHNET TELECOMM SERVICES, INC. FOR A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES IN SOUTH DAKOTA. (Staff Attorney: Camron Hoseck. Staff Analyst: Bob Knadle.)

On April 13, 1999, the Commission received an application by SouthNet TeleComm Services, Inc. for a Certificate of Authority to provide telecommunications services in South Dakota. SouthNet TeleComm Services, Inc. proposes to offer the following interexchange services on a resale basis within the State of South Dakota: intraLATA and interLATA switched and dedicated outbound interexchange services, and calling card services accessed via company-provided "800/888" numbers.

TODAY, shall the Commission grant a Certificate of Authority to SouthNet TeleComm Services, Inc.?
