EL09-029        In the Matter of the Petition of Xcel Energy for Approval of a Fuel Clause Rider Tariff Change.

            On December 31, 2009, Northern States Power Company, d/b/a Xcel Energy, filed to request approval to modify the Fuel Clause Rider tariff in order to sell excess renewable energy credits which have been allocated to South Dakota jurisdictional customers. Applicant proposes to credit 85 percent of proceeds to jurisdictional customers with the remaining 15 percent retained by the applicant as incentive to maximize the value obtained from the sale of renewable energy credits.

EL09-030        In the Matter of the Petition of Xcel Energy for Approval to Establish a Demand Side Management Program and Cost Recovery Tariff and for Approval of its 2010 Planned Costs to be Included in its Rates.

            On December 31, 2009, Northern States Power Company, d/b/a Xcel Energy, filed a petition with the Commission for approval of an expanded demand side management program and cost recovery tariff.  In its petition, Xcel requests to add several new programs and establish a Demand Side Management Cost Adjustment Factor to be included in its rates.
