Black Hills Power, Inc. indicates the bonds will be issued to provide permanent financing of Wygen III, other capital expenditures and to provide proceeds for upcoming maturity of first mortgage bonds.

TC09-079        In the Matter of the Application of Black Hills Communications, LLC for a Certificate of Authority to Provide Local Exchange Services in South Dakota.

            On June 16, 2009, Black Hills Communications, LLC (Black Hills) filed an application for a certificate of authority to provide local exchange services in Qwest Exchanges within the Blacks Hills in Western South Dakota by utilizing a combination of unbundled network elements and resold services obtained from other local exchange carriers pursuant to interconnection and or commercial agreements.
