On February 28, 2007, Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. (MDU) filed a petition to temporarily modify the on-peak time period of the MDU's Time-of-Day service tariffs. The purpose is to accommodate a federally mandated trial change in the Daylight Savings Time ("DST"). The Company proposes to apply these tariff modifications in March 2007, coincident with the change in DST.

On February 28, 2007, Northern States Power Company D/B/A Xcel Energy filed a petition with the Commission for approval of a tariff establishing a Transmission Cost Recovery Rider (TCR Rider) pursuant to SDCL 49-34A-25.1 through 49-34A-25.4. The company also seeks approval to implement the tariff by including the allocated jurisdictional costs in the TCR Rider for transmission project expenditures that are planned to be made in 2007.
