PUC to hold cellular coverage meeting in Florence

PIERRE, S.D. — The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission will hold a public meeting in Florence on Monday, July 30, 2007, to discuss regional cellular coverage concerns. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Florence High School, 515 Main Ave.

PUC Commissioners Dusty Johnson, Gary Hanson and Steve Kolbeck will gather information regarding the availability and usability of wireless service in the region. Area residents are encouraged to attend and provide input to the commissioners and learn more about various cell phone issues.

The meeting is being organized in cooperation with the Florence School District.
