1. EL06-029 In the Matter of the Filing for an Extension of an Electric Service Agreement for the Supply of Bulk Interruptible Power between Otter Tail Power Company and Valley Queen Cheese Factory, Inc (Staff Analyst: Dave Jacobson, Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

Application by Otter Tail Power Company for approval of extension of Contract with Deviations with Valley Queen Cheese Factory, Inc. The current contract is a five-year agreement which ends on December 31, 2006. Both Otter Tail and Valley Queen Cheese request a one-month extension of the current contract, which would end on January 31, 2007, in order to come to an agreement on new rates for service.

1. TC06-193 In the Matter of the Filing by Ionex Communications North, Inc. for Approval of Revisions to its Access Services Tariff (Staff Analyst: Harlan Best, Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

On November 28, 2006, Ionex Communications North, Inc. (Ionex) filed a revision to the company's Access Service Tariff. The revision is to decrease the carrier common line rate to the rate charged by Qwest Corporation. The rate decrease went into effect upon filing with the Commission in accordance with SDCL 49-31-12.2(2).
