PUC Commissioners to discuss renewable energy at Mission meeting

South Dakota's Public Utilities Commissioners will present information on renewable energy at a public meeting in Mission at 7 p.m. CDT on June 15, at the invitation of the Mission Chamber of Commerce.

The PUC Commissioners will share information regarding the opportunities and obstacles of renewable energy. They'll answer questions from the audience regarding these energy sources and their opportunities for development, specific to South Dakota.

Those interested in renewable energy development are encouraged to attend and provide input to Commissioners Gary Hanson, Bob Sahr and Dustin Johnson.

The meeting will be held at the Social Services Building, 671 North Marge Street, in Mission. The South Central Resource Conservation and Development group is helping to organize the meeting.
