Welcome

The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission hosted the 2013 South Dakota/North Dakota/Wyoming Pipeline Safety Operator Training on April 3-4 in Rapid City, S.D. The training event was open to pipeline operators from South Dakota, North Dakota and Wyoming. Presenters included experts in pipeline safety from the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, as well as those associated with pipeline safety oversight in the three states.

Tri-State Training
This year, the pipeline safety operator training event was expanded to welcome operators from the neighboring state of Wyoming to join folks from South Dakota and North Dakota. More than 200 members of the pipeline safety industry from the three states, including vendors and presenters, attended the two-day training event.
