This presentation will describe the potential issue regarding the deposition of Elemental Sulfur and Di-thiazine in the natural gas stream, typically where pressure reductions are taken. With a focus on recent occurrences and incidents, we will discuss the science involved and failures related to this issue. Regulatory requirements will be identified and discussed for operators’ knowledge to determine the proper actions needed to address the issue.
