Tim Rogelstad, Otter Tail Power Company, Fergus Falls, Minn.

Tim Rogelstad is the manager of delivery planning at Otter Tail Power Company where he began his career in 1989 as a relay and substation design engineer in the system engineering department. He moved into the transmission planning area in 1992 and into his current position in 2002. Mr. Rogelstad received a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University and is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. He is a member of IEEE, including past section chair of the Red River Valley Section of IEEE.

 

Mr. Rogelstad has been active in the planning studies in northern Mid-Continent Area Power Pool for several years and is past chair of the MAPP Red River Valley Sub-regional Planning Group, the current chair of the Minnesota Transmission Owners, as well as one of the planning leaders involved in the CapX 2020 effort to build transmission in this region.
