John Felmy, American Petroleum Institute, Washington, D.C.
John Felmy is chief economist of the American Petroleum Institute. He is responsible for overseeing economic, statistical and policy analysis of the Institute. He has more than 25 experience in energy, economic and environmental analysis. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from Pennsylvania State University and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Mr. Felmy is a member of several professional associations including the American Economics Association, the National Association for Business Economics and the International Association for Energy Economics.
