Electric

1.     EL14-019     In the Matter of the Filing of Black Hills Power, Inc. for Approval of its 2014 Economic Development Plan (Staff Analyst: Darren Kearney; Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

On February 25, 2014, Black Hills Power, Inc. (BHP) filed its 2014 Economic Development Plan which includes 2013 actual expenses and the 2014 proposed budget. On March 4, 2015, BHP filed a letter requesting to withdraw this docket as it was determined that economic development cost recovery should be granted through a general rate case prior to filing an economic development plan.

     TODAY, shall the Commission grant Black Hills Power, Inc.'s request for withdrawal?

2.     EL14-108     In the Matter of the Application of Black Hills Power, Inc. for Approval of 2013-2014 Vegetation Management Activities and 2015 Budget (Staff Analyst: Patrick Steffensen; Staff Attorney: Karen Cremer)

On December 23, 2014, Black Hills Power, Inc. (BHP) filed for approval of its vegetation management activities from April 2013 through November 2014, the 2015 vegetation management budget, and the Vegetation Management Regulatory Asset (VMRA) balance as of November 30, 2014. Per the Settlement Stipulation in EL12-061, this filing includes a report which outlines the progress made on the overall five-year plan and updates the forecast for the remaining years based on actual progress to date.

     TODAY, shall the Commission approve the April 2013 through November 2014 vegetation management activities, the 2015 vegetation management budget, and the November 30, 2014, VMRA balance?

3.     EL15-003     In the Matter of the Request for Approval of an Electric Service Territory Boundary Agreement between Parker Public Utilities and Southeastern Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Staff Analyst: Brian Rounds; Staff Attorney: Kristen Edwards)

On January 14, 2015, Commission Staff filed an Electric Service Territory Boundary Agreement between Parker Public Utilities and Southeastern Electric Cooperative, Inc. This filing is made pursuant to current efforts of the PUC to verify electric territory mapping data for conversion to electronic format and use in a Geographic Information System (GIS) database. With the assistance of the above-referenced utilities, Commission Staff has confirmed the service territory boundary shared by these utilities and has prepared updated mapping information. Commission Staff asks for approval of the agreement to update official mapping data to properly reflect the service territory boundaries shared by the utilities in this docket.

     TODAY, shall the Commission approve the proposed electric service territory boundary agreement?
