ADDENDUM TO THE AGENDA
Transportation/Warehouse
On June 30, 2000, the Public Utilities Commission received a Grain Dealer Application from Wheetco, Inc. (Applicant), Groton, South Dakota. The Applicant requested a grain dealer's license. The Applicant is a corporation. In a letter dated June 13, 2000, the Applicant requested a hearing. A hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2000, in Room 412 of the State Capitol. Among other things, in its order issued on July 21, 2000, Wheetco had until August 22, 2000, to secure additional financing. On August 17, 2000, the Applicant filed a Request for an Extension of Time.
TODAY, how shall the Commission proceed?
Telecommunications
An interconnection agreement between Integra Telecom of South Dakota, Inc. and U S WEST Communications, Inc. (now Qwest) has been filed with the Commission for approval pursuant to 46 U.S.C. Section 252(e). The agreement purports to adopt, in its entirety, a previously negotiated and approved JATO Communications Corp. interconnection agreement which was approved by the Commission on December 8, 1999, Docket No. TC99-103.
TODAY, shall the Commission approve the Interconnection Agreement?
