NG12-005     In the Matter of the Filing by NorthWestern Corporation dba NorthWestern Energy for Approval of its Tariff Revisions

On August 24, 2012, the Commission received an application by NorthWestern Energy (NorthWestern) to update its fuel retention percentage for natural gas transportation service. NorthWestern's tariff provides that the fuel retention percentage be adjusted annually with the updated percentage to be effective October 1 of each year. NorthWestern is also providing an updated fuel rate for customers with daily average therm use greater than 30,000. The company states that customers that fit this criteria are primarily direct connect customers whose gas systems are not subject to the normal losses of a distribution system.

TC12-128     In the Matter of the Approval of an Intercarrier Compensation Bill and Keep Amendment to an Interconnection Agreement between Sancom, Inc. dba Mitchell Telecom and City of Brookings Municipal Utilities – Telephone Division dba Swiftel Communications

On August 24, 2012, the Commission received a request to approve the Interconnection Agreement between Sancom, Inc. dba Mitchell Telecom and City of Brookings Municipal Utilities - Telephone Division dba Swiftel Communications. Any party wishing to comment may do so by filing written comments with the Commission and the parties to the Agreement no later than September 13, 2012. Parties to the Agreement may file written responses to the comments no later than twenty days after the service of the initial comments.

TC12-129     In the Matter of the Filing by Sage Telecom, Inc. for Approval of its South Dakota Intrastate Access Services Tariff 

On August 24, 2012, the Commission received a request from Sage Telecom, Inc. (Sage) to replace its South Dakota Tariff No. 3 with South Dakota Tariff No. 4. The new tariff provides updated contact information, definitions, rules and regulations, and switched access sections.  VoIP-PSTN traffic language is also added to comply with the Federal Communication Commission's 2011 Report and Order, FCC 11-161 (in Docket Nos. 07-135, 01-92 et al., released November 18, 2011). Sage requests an effective date of August 27, 2012.

On August 28, 2012, the Commission received a filing pursuant to 47 U.S.C. §252 for approval of an ICC VolP Bill and Keep Amendment to an Interconnection Agreement between Qwest Corporation dba CenturyLink QC and Verizon Wireless. Any party wishing to comment on the Amendment may do so by filing written comments with the Commission and the parties to the Amendment no later than September 17, 2012. Parties to the Amendment may file written responses to the comments no later than twenty days after service of the initial comments.
