CN09-001       In the Matter of the Complaint filed by Tyler McFarland, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, against MidAmerican Energy Company Regarding a Billing Dispute.

            On June 8, 2009, Tyler McFarland filed a complaint against MidAmerican Energy Company regarding a billing dispute.  Mr. McFarland believes he was improperly billed for services he did not use and asks the charges be dismissed and billed to the proper party.

CT09-001        In the Matter of the Complaint filed by Brian Hankel, Hartford, South Dakota, against Sprint Communications Company L.P., Zone Telecom, Inc. and Express Communications, Inc. Regarding Unauthorized Switching of Services.

            On June 4, 2009, Brian Hankel filed a complaint against Sprint, Zone Telecom and Express Communications.  Mr. Hankel alleges his long distance provider was changed by one or all of the listed companies without authorization, resulting in a slam.

OC09-003       In the Matter of the Complaint filed by Southeastern Electric Cooperative, Inc., Marion, South Dakota, against Loewenburg Technologies, Inc., Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

            On June 5, 2009, Southeastern Electric Cooperative filed a complaint against Loewenburg Technologies, Inc. alleging Loewenburg directionally drilled without first exposing affected facilities.  As a result, Southeastern Electric Cooperative's facilities were damaged.

NATURAL GAS

NG09-004       In the Matter of the Filing by MidAmerican Energy Company for Approval of Tariff Revisions.

            MidAmerican is requesting cancellation of its monthly metered transportation gas pilot project and interruptible monthly metered transportation gas pilot project tariffs (pilot tariffs) effective July 15, 2009. The availability of these pilot tariffs expired April 30, 2009, and has been replaced by a permanent monthly metered transportation service, approved by the Commission on April 21, 2009; all customers participating in the pilot programs have been transitioned to the permanent program. MidAmerican opted to retain the pilot tariffs until completion of the transition and is now requesting cancellation of the pilot tariffs. Additionally, MidAmerican is updating its table of contents to reflect the above-discussed changes.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

TC09-076        In the Matter of the Filing for Approval of an Amendment to an Interconnection Agreement between Qwest Corporation and Level 3 Communications, LLC.

            On June 5, 2009, the Commission received a filing for approval of an Amendment to an Interconnection Agreement between Qwest Corporation and Level 3 Communications, LLC.  Any party wishing to comment on the Agreement may do so by filing written comments with the Commission and the parties to the Agreement no later than June 25, 2009.  Parties to the Agreement may file written responses to the comments no later than twenty days after service of the initial comments.

TC09-077        In the Matter of the Request of Long Lines Wireless, LLC for Certification Regarding its Use of Federal Universal Service Support.
           
            On June 8, 2009, Long Lines Wireless, LLC (Long Lines) provided information constituting Long Lines' plan for the use of its federal universal service support and to otherwise verify that Long Lines will use all federal universal service support received in a manner that is consistent with the federal universal provisions of 47 U.S.C. Section 254.

TC09-078        In the Matter of the Application of Digital Telecommunications, Inc. for a Certificate of Authority to Provide Interexchange Telecommunications Services and Local Exchange Services in South Dakota.
           
            On June 8, 2009, Digital Telecommunications, Inc. (DTI) filed an application for a certificate of authority to provide interexchange telecommunication services and local exchange services in Qwest territories in South Dakota. DTI intends to provide resold services to residential and business customers.
