South Dakota Public Utilities Commission to hold public meetings on cell phone coverage in Miller and Wessington Springs

The South Dakota PUC will be holding two public meetings on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, to discuss cell phone coverage in the Miller and Wessington Springs areas of east-central South Dakota. Commissioners Bob Sahr, Gary Hanson, and Jim Burg, along with PUC staff and local cellular provider representatives are expected to attend.

The date, time and location of the meetings are as follows:

The meetings will enable the South Dakota PUC Commissioners to gather information regarding the availability of wireless coverage in this service area. It will also be an opportunity for attendees to learn more about various cell phone issues.
